My wife has a 2007 BMW 335 coupe. She is thinking of replacing it and has asked me for ideas. My preference FWIW is that she picks a car that I also would like to drive. She does not want a P-car as she feels that she can drive the 991 anytime. Here are a few of the things she would like: not too big, two door, sporty. Also convertible and MT are a plus. Of course she could opt for another 335, but just wondering if anyone here can offer ideas. Thanks!

Being female myself I would definitly say: Get her an Audi A5 or S5 convertible. I've had one and it's a very nice car. But maybe I'm a bit biased ![Wink](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/wink.gif)
Or wait for the new BMW 4-series that's coming, wich is the successor of the 3- coupe and convertible. Allthough I have no idea when that hits the US-market. The 335 coupe is still the old model, so I would never get that one new at the moment, because of the upcoming 4-series...
4-series coupe. (Nice car imo)

Thanks everyone for the recommendations!
Wife has to make the decision (like kids and college!), so I feel like a middle man passing on all of your suggestions to my wife. I do hope that she picks a car that I would like to drive.
Suzy991, I take it that you moved from the S5 to the 991. Also, read that the new 4 series will have a convertible mode tool. Interesting!

I've driven a 2010 A5 Cab and a 2013 S5 Cab which I traded for the 991 (only had it 2-3 months). They are great cars. The 991 cab roof is on par with the Audi acoustic top, which amazes and delights me.

Wait for the new BMW 4 Series. They are going to look incredible and have the hard top convertible again, plus lots of LEDs.
It should look really good and be priced about the same as the current 335s. Coupe comes out this Fall and then the convertible in Spring.

My brother has a '12 S5 cab and loves it. I used to have a '13 S4 and loved it. The 3.0 liter supercharged engine is fantastic. So much torque! The B&O sound system's also top notch. Can't go wrong.
