Smile 2014 991's

I was wondering when we would start seeing the 2014's in dealerships? Anybody have any idea? I assume sometime in the fall... Maybe August/September?

Thanks in advance.

I just placed my order and I'm told 90-100 days, so mine is expected in mid-to-late Sept.

Not sure if its a good thing but mine will be one of the first...here in the uk.. The 2014 has digital radio as standard and a few more options available as far as I can tell..I'm sure some ecu changes also...

Yeah, this is what concerns me a little...

I'm told mine was built a few days ago, and will arrive here in South Africa at the end of July or early August - 2014 model.

I've been told categorically that it is a 2014 model
But they have not confirmed ANY differences in the build to a 2013 model - is it possible I got a final 2013 build that will just be registered as a 2014 ?
If @YellowPMan is correct, then I have nothing to worry about, seems they build the 2014 model in May already... but what of the factory close and retooling I've heard about?

Can you divulge if you've had any other "changes" confirmed?

Thanks.

Do you have your vehicle's VIN? You can decipher the year from that.
Position 10 is the year code, I believe...

Mac...as far as factory close down that does not happen anymore..production just slows down..as the 2014 model only offers more options available no real re tooling required as far as I know..but I may be wrong but that's what I was advised by salesman.

10th letter is "E" which I'm led to believe denotes the 2014 year model.

But the news also came with a notification from PCSA that my price has gone up! I now have to decide if I accept the price bump or if my already built car will be put on the lot for someone else.
