plastic cover passenger door broke off
I have been hearing some noise every time I open and close the passenger door. Then I noticed the black plastic cover on the side of the door (where the lower hinge is) hanging loosely on the hinge. I tried to place it back but couldn't as it looked bended and broken perhaps due to the door closing on it. I will be calling the dealership tomorrow to see if it can be replaced but looks like they will need to unscrew the door hinge to get a new cover into place. Anyone experienced this? I wonder how long I need to leave my car there for such fix?

Has not happened to me, yet. I do hear ticking/ creaking from that door. Looks like all they have to do is unscrew that bolt/screw in your pic. Should be simple fix.

Same thing happened to me. I pushed it back in place and it hasn'r come off again (yet). Seems like a bad design of the plastic piece. I'll show it to the dealership at some point.

I too think it is a bad design, mine unfortunately got warped and cracked by the door slamming on it. Booked an appointment today to have it fixed.

Was it a easy fix?

My driver's door plastic came loose also. I put it back in place and then used some clear sealant to tack it secure to the door . I figured if it came loose again and I didn't notice it, I could easily damage it when I tried closing the door with it swinging on the hinge.
This has been mentioned by a lot of folks and Porsche should address this since you don't expect a plastic things swinging from hinges on a $120K car.
