When the unspeakable are in pursuit of the inedible they are mounted on horseback chasing a fox with the help of a lot of dogs. When these same folks go after deer, they drive out onto the moors in their shooting brake (station wagon to us) and have a go. There were racks for the weapons and a place to carry the kill home. I don't want a shooting brake but I think I might enjoy the life to which one is appropriate.

I understand that it's a hunting or shooting term, but it has nothing to do with brakes.

Isn't the term "break"? As in, a lift gate (typically on a Range Rover), under which the shooters stand when shooting sporting clays in the rain? The lift gate offers a "break" from looking up into the rain.

At least, that's what we do and how we spell it.

According to the origin of the term, your spelling was correct.

Sorry if I missed something obvious, but I didn't realize you were calling yourself the attention *****.

Regarding Chase Car, Inc., yeah they also have a Cayenne S. They were filming a commercial one morning of a new Buick driving near the Staples Center. Talked to them during a break (or brake, for those who prefer).

EVERYTHING is painted flat black so not to have anything reflect even the tiniest glint of sunlight into the camera's field of vision. Mirror glass painted over, every exposed chrome or steel nut or bolt, even the license plate and screws was sprayed flat black.

They said they do a lot of chase scenes in the action movies.

What a great job driving these 2 Porsches would be!
