Default Speaker vibration or unusual sound issues anyone?

I've noticed a strange almost vibration like sound that seems to come from the passenger side of the car, possibly from the speaker or that area.
Ive fiddled with different Bass fade settings etc, but it makes no difference.
it doesn't happen all the time, its almost the type of sound or sensation you would expect if you had the bass cranked all the way up. It also does not matter what audio source im using.
i have a great dealer but they have been unable to replicate the issue. Has anyone else noticed this or heard about a similar issue/

thanks a lot

Mine had a similar noise from the driver's side door panel. I stuffed some foam foam padding material in between the door panel and the door at the bottom of the door and the noise is gone.

Yes, both of my doors rattle like empty Mountain Dew cans full of, well, rattling door panel parts. This has been the most disappointing thing about owning the car so far. It's at its worst if you're playing music with any bass at even moderate volume levels. What's the point of offering uprated stereo systems in the car if your fancy interior rattles worse than a $15k Kia?

I just had the car serviced for another minor issue and asked the dealer to address the "severe rattling and resonance" in the door panels and the reply when I picked up the car was basically, "the tech said he's tried really hard on another 991 before and couldn't fix it so we basically didn't try. It's a design flaw on Porsche's part." Really?! So weak.

They did, however, address a previous issue with the access panels on both doors rattling. I'll post up some pics of the fix when I get a chance.

I had it. Dealer said there is a factory kit to take care of passenger door interior vibration. They ordered & installed it a week later. No more vibration. Happy motoring.

Thanks, Holminator. Can you please post more info on this? Was this a campaign or is there a part #?

You are the man. Thanks a lot. Can't believe we have to do this stuff for ourselves. Thankful my local dealer is changing hands to the Momentum group effective this week. Hopefully the service department will improve.

These access panels to the main door panel were the first thing to start rattling very loud in my car. They were able to address this with the addition of these felt strips which you can see in these two pics. It has worked but now the problem is that the inner panels, especially near the top center resonate terribly with the stereo on at even moderate volumes. Hopefully Holminator's fix is applicable to this issue.

I have an opened case # with PCNA about this issue. I have gone back to the dealer 3 times for it. I even measured the frequency at which this resonance occurs. 30-100 Hz. In my case, the biggest offender has been the side mirror switch assembly already replaced once. If you put some pressure on this button some of the resonance disappears.
