Since the GT3, GT3RS and GT4 all have (918) SB options available for order in N.A market, *and* looking at the GB cc they appear to offer the "old" (GT2) SB
seats that were also available for the 991.1 as an option, and since those (old)
seats apparently became non-compliant for the N.A market I would hazard a
guess that it is unlikely that such will become an option for N.A cars anytime
soon (if ever)

If you *really* want those seats, I would spec a car with the cheapest optioned seats, and attempt to order the (GT2) sports buckets "aftermarket" obtaining
the RoW seat from overseas.

I sat in the sport seats in a new Boxster Spyder and I would suggest that anyone considering them in other than a track car should be sure to sit in them before ordering. They can be very difficult to get in and out of and would be tough to sit in for a long period of time. Just my 2 cents.

good point, I forgot that the new Spyder had the (918) SB seats as well...

they are probably also compatible with other models in the range.

They are plenty comfortable for around town, but I track a couple of days a month, so the safety is the important point for me. (With a harness)

the sports buckets in my 7.2 GT3 are very comfortable for what they are ... I'd recommend them.
