Default Shipping Information

I have the Vehicle ID number of my recently completed 991 - it is sitting in Emden waiting for shipping to the West Coast USA. Is there an on-line site to track the boat's progress?

If you know the name of the ship (Your dealer can provide this) you can "track" it using several different web sites. You'll most likely lose track of it soon after it leaves Emden, but it will pick it back up when it's gets close to it's first port. Here's one that I used to track mine: http://www.vesselfinder.com/
You're in the home stretch!!!!

Is Emden the port of Stuttgart ? Mine is sitting the same way. How long do they normally sit on port?

Just picked up a C2 from dealer last Monday. I like www.marinetraffic.com as it'll reflect the ETA of the vessel once it leaves port. As an aside, it took as long for my 991 to get from port (Rhode Island) to dealer in Louisville than it did to float the Atlantic.

My car was completed on the 18th. It's also awaiting shipment. I was informed it will be leaving on May 10th. Your dealer should be able to tell you when it's estimated to be placed on a ship with the updated software.

The problem with the porsche system is that it's highly variable and inaccurate. It's hard to believe that a company at this level would 3-4 weeks off on the delivery estimate.
