Default Rear badging question on the 991

Does anyone have any pics of different options for badging on the 991? I think its a little overkill on the back of our cars...

Here's mine. Personally, I think zero badging works on the 4S because of the light bar. Haven't seen a naked C2, but it seems it would be a little too bare.

I agree, looks great bare with the light bar. Im thinking just Carrera in black with a red S .... They're pretty cheap, guess I could experiment with it and see what works..

I feel that same way about the rear. What is the best approach in removing the badge?

My dealer told me to use dental floss, I'll confirm that in about an hour...wish me luck!

Just the name PORSCHE on my 2012 991S. No Carrera or 991S.

I went for the simple look.
Dental floss worked like a charm...

Plasti dipped the "Porsche" to match vorsteiner carbon fiber lip, black ceramic fabspeed tips and black cabrio top. Clear tails with body-painted rear reflectors.

We finish these with real carbon and can offer you several rear badges like Carrera, S, 4S.. for just 182 USD - not important which lettering and includes new double sided tape on the rear.

Check our store for more: DBCarbon.com

Here some pics:

See here installed GT2 badge on an 996:

PS to Nicoli35: We can also use the twill carbon weave (like on the GT2 badge pictured above) to match the carbon on your rear carbon fiber rear lip..

I'm about to take of the 911 carerra S and replace with a 911S, with the letter s in red.
if you search for rear badging there are some pics of this in this forum.
I liked nicoli's pics of his ceramic tips so much that im sending mine of next week to get them done, and i have a CF rear diffuser being made right now.
Also, toying with the idea of doing the reflector cover ups, but not doing the clear tail lights because i cant bring myself to totally copy nicoli's excellent work!

Limey sir thank you for the kind words! I would love to see clear tails and body-matching reflectors on your car..wow. But the red works so well already, you are really eye-popping no matter what you do. Yours was my first color choice if I had ordered the car instead of finding on the lot. Life is funny how it all works out despite our best plans Cheers!

p.s. I have to be careful playing with the color saturation when making artsy car pics with iPhone apps lol..or mine turns out to look like a bit of poo instead! lol!

Your welcome Nicoli, and I think that you are right, against the blue color of the car the red lights look good, plus I think with the Red S it kinda ties in

cheers
