As I already wrote, anyone immediately getting back on the gas after passing a radar point ...... and while the Escort is still or again picking up an alert ...... is stupid.
With a V1, I would have likely caught the FHP on the other side of the woods, even though he was shooting us in the *** after we went by him. In such a situation, I pick up his beam reflected on the back of his targets ahead of me. I always make sure I have sufficient targets in front of me. Tactics.
I think if you're giving it this much analysis and have been called a professional speeder, I can see why you're only concerned with the arrows. Surprised you're not interested in Live Radar alerts from nearby Escort users. Why wouldn't you have both?

Sometimes mine would beep continously during my 24 miles commute to work...maybe there was a cop going the same route. But, for sure, it gives 10x more false signals than my wife's Escort.

1) The more times you speed ... means more chances to be caught
2) If you are the lone car on the road speeding, the more likely to be caught
3) The best odds of not being caught is to follow a rabbit ... someone going fast and you following and hanging back within sight distance
4) If you are going to speed on a regular basis, get a radar detector
5) Look at the speed of semi's as you drive. If one is passing you at 80 mph or they all are doing above the limit, J Law is not around
6) If you want to push the speed envelope higher and longer, get a radio to listen to semi chatter
7) Scan your mirrors often for cars approaching fast from the rear
8) Pay attention to on ramps, often J Law is just getting on
9) Any high end car or bleep box caught speeding, is more likely to get pulled over. Boring 4 door sedans in neutral colors fade into the scenery.
10) Never speed in residential areas - kids

You just made my point about the arrows. With an Escort, yeah, it is stupid to get back on the gas.
