Drove my friend's new base C4 cab, and while it road much smoother and quieter than my car, I didn't feel as bad as I thought I would.

I expected to get back into my oldie but goodie and cry, but for now, I'm satisfied with what I've got. Part of it is that my car is optioned just like I'd want in a 991, but my friend's is more "low rent" except in cost.

My X51 has a more connected feel and I love the SSK which isn't available on the 991, but my car's tire roar does get old and its suspension is far less refined.

I've gotta admit I'm jonesing for a 991 GT3. Maybe a used one in a few years?! :-)
