Thank you for the info. Would also love to hear your feedback after the track day re tirewear, balance, etc
I had my 991S with PASM sport aligned today for max camber. I ended up with -1.8 degrees front and -2.2 degrees rear.
I also got corner weights: 683 LF 658 RF 1075 LR 1010 RR. So total was 3426 lbs with a full tank of fuel and 175lbs in the drivers seat. If we subtract the fuel (17 * 6.25) and drivers weight we get 3144 lbs. Weight distribution left to right was 51.3% left, cross was 50.5% and rear was 60.8%.

I have no track experience yet in my 991S (SPASM/PDCC) but in my 997.2 GTS I had it briefly adjusted to camber settings where, like yours, the rear neg. camber exceeded the front. Yuck! The car just understeered worse than ever. So I left the front maxed out, and decreased the rear to be the same or slightly less than the front. Much better. It will be interesting to see how our cars compare Sunday at El Toro, since mine is at this point still completely stock with the settings that it left Walter's with. BTW, I drooled all over your car the day you picked it up. I didn't get mine until a week later.

It's hard to compare the the 997, since they had awful under steer anyway.

The alignment was done at a race shop, so I let them decide what we should start with for the rear. We'll see tomorrow. I'm sure I'll be making some changes again, but this should be a decent baseline.

Finally had my car aligned for track friendlier settings. I was only able to get -1.7 front camber (from pre alignment -1.0 left, -1.3 right, 3000k miles on the clock, 991C2S PASM Sport). The mechanic told me he could get -1.9 on one side, but the other maxed out at -1.7, so he made it even -1.7. I asked for -2 at the rear. Ideally, I would want at least 0.5 more negative camber in the front, but I also didn't want to give up too much rear camber, and hence rear tirewear/stability/traction at the track..

Advanced
On my 2012.5 991s I'm running Tarret camber plates and around 2.7 negative degrees camber up front, it's allowed me better tire life and more bite at turn in. Idk if it's on their website but they make em

I am considering a track alignment, were my camber would be maxed out along with the other optimal track alignment settings.
I daily drive my c4s In the winter and don’t want to perform two track alignments per year... one in the summer and one in the fall.
Will winter driving with max camber cause the car to be out of control more often, my common sense meter says ‘more than stock” but not completely out of control.
