Very nice. Thank you for taking the time to post. A nice remembrance of your friend, and his wife. Life is indeed short, my wife's recent recovery from brain surgery has certainly driven that point home. I think of all the great people we have met that share a passion about Porsche, and life. There is a special connection that truly makes a difference. Kindred spirits indeed. It reminds me that even thought we may all differ from time to time on this forum and bicker over one mindless point or the other that we are all bound by a common thread. It is about the people. Thanks for the reminder about what's really important.

Gary was so cerebral. An engineer with that mind muscle is rare. I must say that I was on the fence as to whether to sell my 993tt or my 991 C2S Cab. His post convinced me to sell the 993. I guess time will tell. What time has already told is that Gary's wonderful posts, from a perspective of real world track and road experience were always worth reading. And he took so much time.....he really cared about his posts. He knew he was at the end of his life. This gives one a perspective free of bull****, free of any of the distractions except what counts. At this point in his life, what was important to him was us. He gave us his best. His best was plenty good enough for me.
