Glass or not

I agree, it's big trouble. You may not want to get out of your car at all and instead spend your whole day in a light-filled cabin. You might stop at a light at night and look up and enjoy the lights from skyscrapers. You might be very displeased by how stunning and different your car looks from most other cars. And just think of all that weight you'll be saving on top by not having it. Stay away from it.
Thanks for all the feedback!

I had just ordered a GT Silver 991 with the painted sunroof. Spouse insisted on a "moonroof" reminding me we live in Oregon so it looks like I am getting a 2-tone Porsche! Thioughts.....

it would be great if they offered a glass sunroof with the front and back parts of the roof in body colour rather than black
that provides an option of having only the dark glass panel for light coloured cars
not a fan of whole roof black on lighter cars .. looks like some after market wrap

I was at the dealer a few days ago and saw a silver with moonroof. It has a few very light scratches, even sitting in the showroom. Not sure if it is that "soft" but I would consider clear bra etc, if I were getting one.

Here's my DBM in the Zuffenhausen delivery hall..
You have to look twice to tell that it's not black. OTOH, the Aqua Blue cars are easily seen to be blue in any light.

I was thinking the same thing. If they painted the areas around the roof to match the car it would look much better on a lighter color.

The glass sunroof gives almost 100% more view of the sky than the opened steel sunroof does.
