It's an Evenflo convertible (front-facing, as I mentioned), but I don't remember the exact model. I'm traveling but will take and post a pic when I return home.

I sold my 997s when our first child came. Two kids later I'm back in a 991. In the mean time I went through AMG E63, cayenne gts, new cayenne S and e90m3. I tried so hard to get back in a carrera but was never possible until rear facing car sear was not needed. I'm afraid you will have to wait. But the wait is worth it! Kids love it as much as I do!

Lots of these threads I know... Sorry in advance to dig this one up--but in my defense new seats come out all the time!

I am eyeing the Graco Affix for the 991 coupe. There are two:
http://www.gracobaby.com/products/pa...stargazer.aspx

http://www.gracobaby.com/products/pa...stem-vivi.aspx

Both are LATCH, high back, and *look* narrow. Has anyone tried either?

For me it's a bit of a chicken or egg thing: I want a 991 but won't pull trigger until I know of a seat that will work for my 4 y.o., but can't test seats my self as don't have the car to test them in... So not able to investigate w/o help.

You are making this task too hard. Relax, a 991 is designed to handle a roof box...two to choose from. We have a large dog in the back and his wire crate up top on long trips all the time. Get the box top half painted to match your car and it looks special.

c_Gio: See if you can find the measurements of those seats somewhere online (or in a store) then compare to the back seat measurements of the 991.

I agree, they look like they should work just fine. What's the return policy when you buy one?

My 3-and-a-half year old rides in the back in a Cosco seat I bought at Walmart just fine. She'll probably move up to a booster seat next year.

Quick (half) update. I bought the more expensive of the two Graco seats--it seemed to offer the best side protection. Nothing to lose, my son is ready to go into a booster w/ back regardless... Seat fits/works great in back of company sedan. Obviously. Ford Fusion

Will go by dealer and try sticking it in the back of the 991 today or tomorrow and let you all know the verdict.
