Default Rev matching MT w/SC?
Can anybody confirm or deny rev matching downshifts for the 3.4 w/Sport Chrono? The most recent build 991s w/SC has it, but I haven't seen anybody comment on the base car with SC.

Any input appreciated!

Drove a C4 non S yesterday with SC and the R Matching works like a charm.

I read somewhere that the base Carrera does not get this feature, even with sport chrono. From various forums, the models that get it are the 4, S and 4S.

Not true. I have personally driven a base Carrera with S/C with rev match... Is a 2012.5 feature, added after initial production.

Does the car do the rev matching when you press or release the clutch after the gear change? I'm assuming when you engage the clutch it rev matches.

It rev matches after the clutch is engaged, as soon as it senses that a lower gear is about to be selected. Mine rev matches once the gear lever touches the lower gear gate.
