New to Rennlist_991
Hello,
New to Rennlist, but on my 3rd Porsche. Current car is a 2012 911 Carrera. It's pretty well equipped with the 7 speed manual and loaded otherwise. Even though it is a non-s, I am enjoying the performance, sound, and pure fun. Found a few quirks that I wish werent there, but I will be using the search feature to see what I can find. I look forward to learning and sharing with you.

Thanks guys! Will have to post pics soon. Just got my avatar up, so thats progress. Only complaints so far are :
1- Buzzing noise from engine area when at approx 3000-3200 RPM. Drives me crazy. Dealer said it was normal, but I think I am going to try another dealer.
2- Cold start the engine/starter/belt/something makes a quick chirp or squeak. Could be a belt slipping, but still I dont feel it should do this.
3- Lastly, the fact that in cold weather after just starting the car, the tires "hop" when turning the wheel...
Otherwise, I love listening to it sing thru the gearbox. My last porsche was a Cayenne GTS. Great ride, but nothing compares to being back in a 911
