Wonder why it wouldn't work with parking sensors.

Maybe because it seems obscenely expensive for 2 wire meshes and 12 screws? But also perhaps that's also where some of the parking sensors are.

Yes, I have front parking sensors...we kept the black supports for those and it worked out well.

I found this on YouTube:

I have no relationship with them, simply pointing out the info I found.

It is expensive but it seems well made and it will protect your car while keeping the clean look.

Does anyone else have a clean solution besides Homedepot at a cheaper price? Can you share with us your cost JC?

JCBH,
That looks stunning! Is the any way your body shop can ship those parts with instructions?

Agree that the kit is well made, but still seems quite pricey. The 991 version has no clips, it apparently just uses screws to fasten the grills down.

Has anyone installed these grills yet?

Feel free to call my body shop - Santa Monica Body Craft - (310) 450-5400.
Owner is Stan Krant. No affiliation but they do great work. Tell him that you want the same kit that Stan did for me...don't remember the price but think it was around $600 or so? I had some other work done at the same time on another car, and I don't recall. Good luck!

That looks nice, a couple of questions though, is that car a 991? I couldn't tell from the video clip. the reason that i ask is that i looked at the 991 kit and i thought that you actually had to drill into the bodywork. Also, any instructions on removing front bumper?

cheers

The video shows a 997. The 991 kit does not have those clips. It seems like both require drilling the screws into the bumper cover at non-exposed locations so they appear hidden.

I had a local shop installed RennLine's kit. I have C2S with Sport PASM, and don't have parking sensors or headlight washers (not sure if that matters). The installer told me that he had to trim the grills slightly to fit.

I went with black mesh and if isn't visible from the outside because it is recessed in the bumper.

I should have more information when the shop has done the work tomorrow and will post. They have done a lot of 991 work and don't have any concerns about removing the bumper, promising me their reattachments of 991 bumpers are perfect.

Yes, drilling is required with RennLine kit on 991 and I couldn't find any DIY bumper removal instructions.

Are you sure it's just a useless plastic piece ? If I recall correctly when I crouched down last weekend, I saw that that piece scoops up air and funnels it right and left into the radiators for cooling ?!
