That's pretty quick. When I installed a smart Top in my 981, I did not push a pin in all the way. When I started the car, I got 4 faults. Maybe you have a loose pin? ...on the other had you should get faults if that is the case. Mine has worked perfectly for 5 years since I reconnected the pin during initial install. .

Are you mixing up your keys?

I haven't experienced the resetting, though my doors do lock themselves automatically.

Also using a CTEK and SmartTop.

I've had the CTEK battery tender for a while and have never had an issue. The system seems stable when I operate the Smart Top without the CTEK or when I leave the CTEK on and don't operate the Smart Top. Maybe the problem was that I was playing with the Smart Top for my targa top a lot with the CTEK plugged in. I'll stop playing with the system and see how it goes.

Anyone having issue in releasing the AMP Connectors it's quite easy once you see the mechanism.
