Since I can't get anywhere near the limits of my 991S on public roads, I'm thinking that this car would give me automotive blue ***** to a degree heretofore unimaginable. For this old fart, it's beginning to be like computer speed. I can't tell the difference between 2 bazillion calculations per second from 5 bazillion per second. A GT3 that corners at 1.3g with 500hp will be a fun thing to read about for me, but it doesn't fit my reality. I love my 991 and drive it much more than my 993, but the 993 is always more fun, go figure.
The new 2013 Porsche 911 GT3 RSR will start delivery in Europe sometime next year, but it won’t be ready for any American competitions until 2014. Pricing likely won’t change much from the half a million euros the outgoing car commands.
