Default Battery Maintainer

Does the 991 have a hot cigarette lighter that a Porsche battery maintainer can be used on? If yes which one?

My car is covered and I would rather crack a window then pop the trunk.

Is there a better unit then the Porsche model?

Use the cigarette lighter in the console, the Porsche unit seems to be fine. Or you can buy a "Battery Tender" brand battery maintainer. I got my Battery Tender from Amazon for around $45.00 I think. I am using the Porsche unit on my 991, it's convenient.

If it does not have a cigarette lighter it has a 12v outlet.

Ctek makes PAG's better maintainer. You can get it
here for half the price here for half the price
.

It is actually more complete than the OEM version, as it has other connectors. You must though also order
this cigarette lighter adapter this cigarette lighter adapter
.
