I have had it all my 997.1, 997.2 and now my 991. The latest policy for the 991 was $850 for 5 years. I have already had a rear tire replced due to a nail. I figure that I am almost at break even. With my 997.2 it was about the same price and in 3 years had 3 rears replaced as well as one front. I think I am pretty much ahead of the insurance company and look at the decision to purchase as pretty much a must have.

I bought it, I have not had to use it yet (3700 miles) but one good run-in with a curb and.......peace of mind.
