It is also pricey so I was going to go with just the wheel, door entry guards and center console surround. A lot like you. But, are you saying that you would have done the rest in CF now after seeing it? I just don't like the cheap aluminum strip look - had it in my old 997.

Also, who did you work with at Porsche USA? Could you provide contact info?

I am not sure I have the guts for the contrast stitching - but yours looks awesome. I am only wating for the 2-tone beige/black to be updated on the configurator to place order - they said the beginning of Nov.
I am retrofitting full carbon interior to the car...as much as I can anyway. I think the carbon looks great against Luxor and I would definitely recommend you add CF to your build.

I will pm you Melissa Witek's contact details.

the carbon wrap looks very sharp. Obv. for looks. Truth is, if real or stick on CF is not protected well from heat/UV, it breaks down and eventually needs repair/replacing. money well spent on the CF wrap, IMO.
as others have mentioned, great ext/int color combo.
Can't wait to see how the beige leather wears/ darkens to contrast with the red accents. Enjoy.

Thanks Ed. I thought the seat backs looked unfinished in the silver grey and factory does not allow you option on painting so wrapping in CF was a good cheap solution. The guys are supposed to be putting a clear gloss coat over the cf wrap so I can't wait to see how that turns out.

..For the record, your EXCELLENT (and handsome) salesperson voted for the carbon inlays rather than the leather

Jon,
You were right! Should have stuck with cf from the get go.

Default Some interior shots

Just picked up the car today. Not all the CF parts have been done yet. Escort 9500CI installed and working well. Steering wheel feels great...much better than the stock wheel. I really like how the carbon fiber bits are looking against the beige and red interior.

Here are a couple of pictures of the back end lettering delete. I put on a Carrera S from the 997 vintage to replace the 991 lettering. I find the 991 lettering to be too busy. I think the old style lettering gives it a much cleaner look.

The guys screwed up the placement of Carrera and they have reordered another Carrera which will go on next week. The Carrera should be sit a little higher than the S. It is bugging me until I get the new lettering on.

I am really loving the custom wheel...the ergonomics are just divine.
