Yup, I did. Melissa Witek at Exclusiv worked with me on the build and suggested the leather. I wanted CF but decided to see how it would look in person before deciding, hence only adding the Center console surround in cf. now that I have seen how the dash looks, I know that putting in the cf strips will not overwhelm the dash and the red stitch etc.
Looks just like my F430 inside. Amazing!! Why didn't they stitch the steering column in red. Oversight?
Great options by the way.
The deviated stitching was not available for the steering column. Was annoyed that there were a number of other leather options that I could not order because they did not come with ability to include deviated stitching.
The column may bug me enough that I will likely get a local auto upholsterer to do it.
As it was, I had to go the the OEM steering wheel manufacturer to get deviated stitching and carbon fibre on the sport design wheel.
I am getting the same color combo - dark blue metalic and luxor beige - only difference is a cab vs. coupe. Originally, I was going with full carbon accents - dash, doors, center console, MF wheel and even door entry guards. However, a lot of people said the carbon doesn't look good with the beige. It is also pricey so I was going to go with just the wheel, door entry guards and center console surround. A lot like you. But, are you saying that you would have done the rest in CF now after seeing it? I just don't like the cheap aluminum strip look - had it in my old 997.
Also, who did you work with at Porsche USA? Could you provide contact info?
I am not sure I have the guts for the contrast stitching - but yours looks awesome. I am only wating for the 2-tone beige/black to be updated on the configurator to place order - they said the beginning of Nov.
