I'm planning to keep this car for a long time. I live in a City and don't really need to drive ever -- and I have another car. So this could see the occasional commute to a suburban office, but more likely it's going to only be a pleasure car and it's going to be around for a long time.

There's no option to delete the badge that I want to delete... I don't like the H U G E Porsche on the back. I'll probably just remove all of the bling.

I know configuring a car is a very personal decision, but reallyappreciate others' views. Thanks all.
I forget the number but it is possible to do it. I did. The dealer can also remove it for no charge. They can also remove the Porsche wording from the back in addition to the carerra.

trouble is, if you go for OEM multi function s/w, you lose the handy and easy to use stalk on the steering column .. and you have to rely solely on the fiddly s/w controls

Not accurate. Spin the thumb wheel and boom, you get more info than what is available with just the stalk, plus the primary control button van be reprogrammed by the driver. I made tire pressure my key screen with a one button item on the mf wheel. Pardon me if I misunderstood the original comment about the mf wheel. I think the setup is better than my old 997 mf wheel and stalk. Just my two cents.

Default S Cab color choice

Just placed my order for new S cab. Platinum Silver metallic, with the yachting blue roof, and interior.
Have not seen that interior color mentioned anywhere.
Am I making a mistake.
Already changed my mind from GT silver metallic and Espresso roof and interior ($8K more) to Ruby red and black interior???
Will not be built to February, so I can change mind again. I guess.

Great config. I would highly recommend considering the 18 way adaptive seats and perhaps the glass sunroof depending on your tastes. You'll enjoy whatever you get !!!!

Depending on your climate, heated and vented seats (great w all leather) and heated steering wheel, and whatever they call the extra interior lighting (some may be the premium plus package).

If you are into either tracking, or like a "little extra sport feel and look" the Sport PASM is (especially by comparison to other options) a bargain.
