is this a good deal

The price is great but my question to the dealer would be why did the original owner sell after a couple months of ownership. If the dealer is offering the car for $18K under MSRP, the original owner probably took at least a $20K hit not including another $5 - $6K in taxes and fees. Unless the previous owner was a multi-millionare, that's a huge hit.

My dealer has all sorts of stories such as this,.....yes, there are many people out there where a $20k hit is nothing.
When I ordered my 2011 C4s a brand new white Boxster Spyder was in the showroom with a used tag on it,.....1k miles. Husband bought it as a birthday present for wife,....she didn't like it. Back to the dealer is went. Got her a loaded 911 instead,....now sweat.
You name it, a Porsche dealer has probably seen it.

This is the only pic I have so far, but I will post more soon. The car is being prep and details. I will pick it up Saturday morning.
As far as I know about the previous owner, it was an older gentlemen who has bought a few cars from them. I believe he got between 4-5% off. He traded it in for a cayenne diesel.
The car is in a perfect condition with no history of any accidents. My salesperson said that things has been pretty slow around where I live. I was also offer a demo 991s black on black with 3000 miles for 102000 (Msrp 118000).

Congratulations. Pg103 - I am also 30, my car's build completion date was the day of my 30th birthday. It has always been a dream of mine to have a 911 and my career allows it (being single and childless, doesn't hurt either).

I've been driving this car for about a week now and I'm loving every second of it. I'm always trying to find an excuse to run errands so I can take it out. I thought I might have regretted not getting PSE, but the stock exhaust sounded just right. I just got the car tinted and clear bra put on. My next project is to install a radar detector. Does anyone have any thought or suggestions?

i sold mine after 3 months and 8k miles and didn't lose a dime.. it's all in the numbers and how you can make it work for you..
tampa is weird, in the 3 months i had my 991 i never saw another on the road, even in miami i only saw 1... i think they screwed people too hard on 997.2's before the 991 came out and people feel taken advantage of. LOL.

in tampa i wouldn't even reccomend radar unless you live in largo/USF areas... not to sound conceited but have you gotten pulled over in the 911 yet? just my theory but most cops see a sports car and know you have the money to fight the ticket and just dont write it.... i would just drive smart and not worry about it.. radar's seem to give me a false sense of security and lead to more speeding imo... versus just driving smart w/ traffic and slightly (or in florida case, highly) above the limit...
only times cops have been dicks to me is largo/USF areas
i really dont think CPO is needed since cars are so new, i doubt they would have just thrown it in.. car is too youn and CPO costs them just about as much as they usually add on top/that noone is willing to pay.
