Default Production change

My car was to be produced yesterday (9/21) and this morning my dealer called indication that the computer shows the letters "PRDQLT" this morning. They do not no what it means. Do any of you know? They don't have a VIN but figure it will come on Monday?? Thanks for the help.

I believe thats correct, this is the phase immediately following the build, last 1-2 days then you see PRDCLT.

PRDQLT means the routine Factory Quality Check. Part of it also involves driving around Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen a little as well. Use to watch them do it back in the day when I lived in Stuttgart. Then it should be shipped up to Bremerhaven after the checkout. It's good news.

Are you sure about that? The ultimate factories show said that they use a dyno to do tests up to 75mph and the only time its driven otherwise is to get onto a truck to go to the port; After which we all know how its driven on and off the boat.

In the leipzig tour i took they didnt take the car off the grounds unless getting on a truck/train.

Yes--I'm 100 percent sure. Eyes on. I lived nearby in Stuttgart-Botnang.
