I'm curious about the Brembo rotors. Last I checked, no OEM/aftermarket rotors were the correct thickness for the 991 calipers. I'm keen to upgrade to slotted rotors from PFC, Brembo, Stoptech or equivalent. The factory pads are the first weak link. Plus braided flex lines. A little oversized with spacers for the calipers would be fine, but right now, I don't think the brakes need anything except light, durable rotors. The factory rotors are giants, which I think is mostly related to the rears being over-engineered for PSM and PTV.
I'll have to respectfully disagree with you on SRF. It is fully compatible with the Porsche brake seals (confirmed by a Porsche mechanic), it is a DOT4 product and used extensively in motorsports. I know several GT3RS owners up here in Canada that swear by the stuff . I think Motul 600 and 660 is great stuff, but I find SRF doesn't need to be bled anywhere near as often.

I agree with you on the pads. I wore out 2 sets of OEM pads last season and i've switched to Pagid RS29 now that they're out.

The brembo rotor kit I am referring to fits the stock calipers. They are stock width, but are 10mm larger in diameter in the front and 20mm larger in the rear. The part numbers are 102.8010A and 202.8009A if you're interested. I got a pretty good deal through Gruppe Werks (www.gruppewerks.com) on the kit.

I know! I can't wait for their arrival. If you email them, they'll give you a better price that what's listed.

Thanks for the tip. These will most definitely go on when the OEM rotors are done, which won't be too long.

I got my RS-29s from Gruppe Werks, good price and good service. Quick turn around.

I also purchased my SRF from them. I love the stuff. I only bleed my system once a year with SRF and it has never failed me.

Girodisc is available as slotted in 991 sizes. I was quoted around 2400 for the set, front and back.

Wow, those look like nice rotors. But $2,500 for the fronts compared to $400 for stock. They better be pretty darn good!

Girodisc 350mm front setups for the 991 are $1,200. The $,2400 quoted above is for front AND rear.
