This week I am ordering winter wheel&tires set.
I have the 991 Carrera, so i am interested to know if this set, works for my car http://www.suncoastparts.com/product...de=997gen2susp
Or should i go with this:

Nokian Hakkapeliitta ... there is no substitute.
19's will be fine and from what I've read, the rear lower control arm precludes 18's.
I plan on 19's on an C4S Targa and the real trick will be chains ...
If you want chains, the Summit quick-release work perfectly and take literally seconds to install. I've got some pics here somewhere ...

The dealer parts dept can provide size and N-rated fitment or substitute.
I've seen Micheln Alpin, which is fine. I imagine they have Pirelli -- in the cleverly named SottoZero -- too, since it's the other factory fitment. Both are good winter tires with "snowflake" performance (meaning a silica compound, extensive siping, "sharp" void edges and remaining flexible in extreme cold.)
I've bought a ton (literally) of tires from Damon @ tirecrack, from DOT slicks to Blizzaks and Alpins. He does a great job on research, advice and service.
I've had Hakka's and Alpins for the 997.2 C4S in 18's and 20's on the Cayenne, which made the thing an amazing snowmobile. I spend three or four months of the year snow skiing, so having a 911 that's surefooted in the snow is a great luxury compared to lumbering around in a Cayenne.
Still, it's a useful precaution to have the Thule Summit snow-chains. I can't overstate how effectively these chains work. They fit the 991S with 20's with a design that leaves nothing near the paint and no lose components. They provide ample grip for climbing in snow and ice under extreme "can't walk" conditions. Speaking from experience. They install in literally 1 minute per corner and can be installed in deep snow without getting dirty or risking any contact/damage to the wheel or body paint. They pack into tidy bag that doesn't take up too much frunk-space.

I ordered the 20" Michelin Alpin PA4's for my 991 on Monday and they arrived at the dealership today. Even though we never talked I added your name to my online order so you owe me. . .

Bought a 19 inch winter wheel set set today at the dealer. Made the purchase now as my 20% off dealer coupon expires this month. The mechanic recommended that I wait until ambient temperature is lower than 40 degrees. Tire looked good and the 19 inch wheels looked very good.
