Thanks and sorry there are not better quality pics..its just been so much fun to drive and stopping for decent pictures has been difficult hehehe.

Here is a quick YouTube vid of very mediocre quality, showing the sports exhaust growl a bit. It really only comes part-way through the audio..its much more visceral in person...the cell-phone capture is just bad...sigh. We need a Go-Pro hehe!

Beautiful car - Welcome to the dwindling 7sp MT club.
Can't even tell you how many service techs have told me how rare MT 991 are nowadays.
Beware that your left leg might be slightly larger in the coming months....

gotta love that pse...while it was nice on the 997.2, i did not feel like it was "required" on 991 however, most definitely a must have.

wow guys thanks. It does take some effort to drive well, but hitting shift points right and feeling a part of the car is really amazing when it comes together. The natural leather interior and options are just, well, more than I would go for on a different car, so perhaps it was meant to be. Stared at this one on the dealer website for over a month considering what to do. I feel like we are working together while driving it, I have a job to do, the car has a job to do, etc. We are partners and I have to work at my technique because the car is definitely keeping up it's end of the deal. lol!

I look forward to learning more about the car and how to adapt to it's strengths in the coming months (and years). Thank you kindly for everyone who appreciates a car like this. I appreciate your passion and your Porsches as well.

Loving this Anthracite brown! The car has been at Metropolitan Detail in Seattle the last few days getting a complete XPel front wrap, side rocker panels (and inside door bottom area) as well as door handles, etc, clay bar/wax and sealant treatment. Passed 1000 miles on the way home and found clear side markers from ECS Tuning waiting for us in our mailbox! Well that is just a good day right?

So, popped in the clear markers and here is my question. The original amber/orange markers on my car contain a clear bulb inside. The clear side markers I put on tonight contain an amber/orange bulb inside. Is it legal to put the original clear bulb into the new clear markers or has there got to be an amber/orange bulb in there? Hmm...

p.s. I could smell the espresso natural leather inside even with the top down on the highway driving home. It's nice.

Love it! I have over 7k miles on my C2s 7mt in a little over 3 months of DD and love it more each day. The gears are perfectly spaced with the smoothest shift ever.

The law requires the front side marker to be lit orange when operating at night and passively reflect orange when unlit. The orange colored bulb will be OK with any cop during a traffic stop, the white reflector might be an inspection issue if they're really thorough, most aren't. Given the kids in my town driving around with blue headlights, you could probably get away with the clear bulb if you think it looks better!

thanks guys - I tried the clear bulb and turned out the lights in the garage.

It is a nice different kind of look, but to me, the orange bulb in the clear marker was much more visible. I might just be used to seeing them on North American cars, but the clear bulb to me looked almost like it could be a penlight or something - and I want others to know it is a car on a dark mountain road at night. I put the orange bulb back in the clear marker.

Nicoli35,
I am keeping my orange marker, just to set the car off from everyone else's who frequents Porsche forums.
