Question battery tender

I have my battery tender, the oem Porsche one that plugs into lighter socket from my 96 993. I bought it back in 2002 then sold the car a few years ago. Does anyone know if its compatible with the new 991?

I just plugged mine in today. Used the passenger footwell plug. I hope it is compatible!

The more recent C-Tek-based units are fine. The older wart-type units have been known to have failed rectifiers yielding a rippled waveform which will cook batteries. Check those if you have them.
