Hi Everyone, today I noticed (right behind the front right tire) a thin plastic tube coming out of the frame through a hole under the car. No idea what this is and not sure if this is normal. Is it some sort of a drain? The plastic tube is coming out of a hole. This is only on the right side. Help!

On a 996 it's normal. Not sure about the 991.
Open the lid for the gas and pour some water in the little hole that should be below the filler neck. (don't pour it into the tank itself. I know... duh!) See if it comes out of the tube. Then you'll know.
It won't hurt anything

this tube coming out of the frame is also located behind the front right tire under the car like yours. I dont remember seeing this in my 997.2. It looked odd seeing a plastic tube coming out of a hole. But I guess what you are telling me is that its normal...and its some sort of a drain.

Based on the pictures I believe (just like rubber_ducky) that it's the central vent hose of the car battery.
Porsche batteries are vented to the outside of the vehicle through a thin plastic tube, which exits the battery via a 90 degree plastic elbow. It is inserted in the top center on the positive side of the battery (left side when viewed from the front).

The 997 has it...and it's the battery vent tube. You'll never see anything come out of it as it just vents any vapors to relieve pressure build up in the battery.
