anyone elses track list default to alphabetical order versus the order the tracks are actually in?

obviously the artists are alphabetical as in iTunes, but select an artist and albums are alphabetical (not bad) but then all the tracks are also alphabetical versus in proper order.

i've tried going into itunes and making sure that the tracks are numbered in order but still alphabetical... is this an iPod/iTunes issue or PCM sorting?
