Rear diff without PTV?

Rear diff without PTV?
So, I am close to ordering a base 991 with manual transmission, and I see that PTV comes with a mechanical proportioned limited slip rear differential.
My question is, if I do NOT get PTV, do I still have a limited slip differential, or will it be an open differential? In other words, does PTV just add the software, sensors, and computer to add PTV (or turn it on in software), or does PTV also change the differential they build it with.
While I don't really need PTV, I'd hate to have an open diff in the rear.

I found one website (autozine) that claims all 991 have limited-slip, and PTV just adds the brake torque vectoring, however have not found any others and still looking for confirmation.

The way I read the configurator, the mechanical LSD is only available in a package with PTV on the base car, so if you don't get PTV you will have an open diff. Both items are standard on the S. On my '09 S a mechanical LSD was available either by choosing the lowered sport version of PASM or as stand alone option #220. Interestingly, the price was the same either way; $950 (on top of the price of PASM in the case of S-PASM). Porsche often keeps the same option numbers across model years so you might check with your dealer to see if #220 is still a valid option.
