So that's the cup-holder in the doors! I couldn't figure it out. A little messy with the morning Peet's, but maybe I'll just put a lid on my espresso and ask for larger cup.

ps. I wasn't commenting on appeal or aesthetics, just my perception of the market. Personally, I had a ocean blue over gray, and a meteor gray over coca brown leather. The blue/gray is just about pitch perfect for California -- the paint has character and depth, the black top is easy to maintain and the gray leather cabin is tidy and not too much of a heat soak -- but resale is abominable. Also, blue cabins tend to be unloved in the secondary market and the last to sell -- it's been a common theme for decades to find white 911's with blue cabins as the last to find a buyer. There was a long many years when "triple black" (black paint, leather and top) was the "the" car to find. Personally, I found "triple black" to be drab and tended to look scruffy too easily.

As ever, don't buy a car "for the next owner" but still, unless one is driven to sleeplessness over shades and fabrics, I'd suggest painting within the lines and just add subtle touches to make your distinctive mark on a car. It's quite strange to me to find myself even bothering to post on the topic of paints and patterns -- for decades, it was black, then I opened the aperture to include silver, then I took the wild and crazy leap to include white. Then I chose just white for ages before finally seeing a blue over gray leather cabrio 993 with black top and saying "that is cut above."

If you have enough money, resale worries get pretty silly. Just buy what you like. You don't wanna end up like Ferrari guys leaving it parked. Hi mileage is tuff resale too! As are lots of silly options.

The door handles work great for waters, and I put them next to the seats by the doors too. I never use the cup holders.

Coffee? Don't you remember how to squeeze it between your legs while shifting, back when cup holders
Didn't exist?
I always got black or brown carpets back then to hide the spills. Dont drink it now

I just placed the order for my car. White with two tone leather, Agate Grey/ Pebble Grey. It looks best to me. I have never had problems keeping a light colored interior clean and the carpets are dark to hide dirt from shoes. It should keep the car cooler in summer as well.

Buy what you think is best, most importantly, enjoy it and don't worry about the resale.

I ordered agate grey exterior and full leather black grey interior because I like it. Drive the car and enjoy it.

Sometime in mid July I should be taking delivery of my white cab with a black top and interior. A blue top wasn't an option for me. I'm a Penn State grad and live in State College, home of the Penn State campus. White with blue would have been too rah rah, since they are Penn State's colors. Looking forward to my first white car since my 1978 Alfa spider.

nicoff, nice rig!

Sun does better with blue when he's dirty, which is most of the time
