As always the anticipation is very exciting and the spy shots are part of the experience.

what 450hp in the GT?! thats it? that $150k car should have no less than 500hp. Thats a real let down if true.
wing on the GT is way too small.
OMG CL wheels again? I wonder is standard lugs will be an extra cost "option"?

What I'm guessing knowing Porsche is that both cars will have enough power to be one of the fastest,if not the fastest and best handling in each of their category.
The wing is most likely not the one that will come with the production model. They even say it in the article. To me,that wing looks like the one you get in the 991 S model if you order the Aerokit.
They always use the black painted wheels in their test cars so you can't see what's underneath. Most mules are black in color for that same reason and have camouflage. Those are not the wheels these cars will come with...
If you look at the TURBO's rear lights, they look like they're from a 997,so again, not final production look.

The seats look like the Carrera GT seats in the 997 GT3.
Aero appears to be unchanged, too. Ferrari can practically reinvent the aero for the 458 and Porsche just gets the set designer from Star Trek to glue on a model of the "Klingon Bird of Prey" and call it a wing ... oh well ... anyway, I think forward facing edges don't meet pedestrian safety test regulations in the USA, so that will be interesting.
The wing also looks a tiny bit like it could raise itself like the Turbo wings, maybe Porsche keeps that just for the Turbo. That one must be a mock up or prototype because of the redundant eye level brake light LED bar.
There's an undersized roll bar in the cabin -- perhaps just for safety rather than testing (since German car makers have probably been put on notice to stop letting their test drivers kill themselves.)
This car has the central exhausts crudely cut through an S bumper and the normal outlets covered over.
I guess we can conclude the GT3 will not be wide body.
So the GT3 is shaping up to be a fancy sh-mancy X51 power kit and bigger rotors for a 911S, with aero kit and light seats, optional roll bar (not for USA, as ever) and ... centerlocks!

Again it's a mule so hard to say what the production version will look like but seem to be 21" wheels, spaced outwards in the rear at least, and could it be the US version with the N. American rear bumper?

My dealer confirmed that GT3 is PDK only and next RS will offer both.
