agate/espresso/brown top
need your opinions. Do you guys think that an agate cabrio would work with espresso and a brown top? I'm hoping that the espresso and brown top are similar in color. Or would umber be a better way to go.
Better question, does agate look good with brown or should this kind of combo really be reserved for a silver car? Thanks!!

I'm not an interior designer but here it goes....If you're leasing the car, do whatever you want! Hand it back & wipe your hands. If your stuck on a brown top, I would go with either Racing Yellow or the Anthracite Brown. I've seen some Silver cars with the Brown top & they look OK. If you're leaning towards the Agate, I would stick with the Black top. It blends nicely. If you want some originality, play with the interior. JMHO....go to the dealer & play with some color combos on their computers. Good luck with whatever you choose.

I had a gray 5 series wagon with a brown interior, but it was a lighter gray than agate and the interior was lighter than espresso. I thought that gray over black looked great. However, I'm not sure if the agate/espresso would look good, and I'm pretty sure agate with a brown top would not look good. Stick with a black top and go with a red interior if you want to jazz things up.

My opinion is that this combo is too dark and dreary. I think a brown interior and brown top will only look good in white or silver, possibly black. Agate is a hard one to do combos, outside of the traditional blacks and grays.

I disagree with these guys. Agate seems to have a lot of brown/gold in it, and I think would look good with espresso/brown, beige/brown, or umber/brown.
Subtle and rich, rather than dark and dreary.
But I am not the one that will have to look at it every day...

Saw an agate 981 with agate/pebble grey. The agate interior has brown undertones to it so it is not a color match to agate exterior. Not saying it doesn't go together, just don't expect it to be grey. In addition, I don't see the brown top looking like a smooth match for the agate exterior.
Will be an interesting combo if you go with it...
