Default Air conditioning question

Even the air con was off before I shut down the engine, the air con of my 991 turns on automatically everytime I unlock the doors and turn on the engine. I have asked the dealer and tried everything possible but no solution on this issue.

Thanks for your advice in advance.

I noticed just yesterday that the climate control settings seem to be tied to the seat memory configuration, or at least to button 3. As in, when I selected seat memory button 3, the climate control, which had been off, turned back on at the settings I was using when when I stored the seat position, which I had done earlier that day. This was reproducible. I didn't get a chance to test memory 1 or 2 to see if it's just the 3rd memory slot (the one linked to the key fob), or for all 3 of them.

Could that be what's happening in your case?

my air conditioning question is unrelated to previous posts -- but I have noticed that my air con is not really working very well at all. It is very very poor in terms of cold-quality. Anyone have any tips on trouble shooting? Thanks.
