Why don't they offer more than 1 choice in the 19"s? I know it's a profit motive, but I feel the 20's don't have a good tire on them yet. Had 2 flats, 100 miles apart.

Looking for opinions on sport techno wheels. I orfered the carrera classics and colored Porsche crests, for same price (they come standard w colored crests) I'm torn between the 2. My 991 will be black with the 2-tone black leather interior. Thx jb

Do you like blondes or brunettes?

I think it is impossible to give you advice on this as it can only depend on your personal taste. I guess they both will look good with black exterior. However it might be interesting for you that SportTechno is half an inch wider on both axles compared to any other 20-inch wheel for 991 (that's why you cannot spec spacers with them).

I personally like SportTechno. I've specced them for my 991 C2S with GT Silver exterior. In my opinion Classic wheels look a bit too glamorous. Still look good though.

I personally like the Sport Techno wheels the most, especially when the wheels are in all silver. They look great in person, particularly with a dark colored car. My local dealership has a base 991 with the sport techno wheels, and so far it's the best looking 991 that I've seen in person.

You are right as far as personal taste is concerned (By the way l like blonds and brunnetes), but the 1/2 wider stance seems would fill in the wheel wells better. The Carrera classic wheels are awesome the only thngs that i am not big fan of is the dark gray interior of those wheels. The Sport Techno has more of a platinum silver interior. Need to see a few more pics of sport techno. -jb

Sport Techno are spun cast so they are not only a half inch wider but also lighter. So they give the same track but are much lighter than a standard OEM wheel with a spacer. Lighter unsprung rotating mass means faster acceleration, deceleration, and better ride.

dam, i wish i never see these wheels. Im going for a red and black theme so was having the Carrera S wheels in black but those Techno's look great in silver. Not to keen on the techno's in black though.

Anyone got any pictures of guards red with techno wheels

Do you have the weights of the standard wheels against the techno's?

Thanks

Not many pictures of them, but Suncoast Porsche has a couple on a GR 991. Show in the parts section under 991 wheel sets.

the local dealer has blk 991 w/ these wheels. What interestes me the most is the ability to mount wider, 255/315s.
