Great area; I recognize the type of foliage. I used to live in Atl, and had a home i the GA mountains more recently. I also bought the C6 in my avatar in Columbia, SC at Love Chevrolet / Hummer (they may not be there anymore).

Came from 997 Turbo to GTS. Went in to buy a 991 Turbo and fell in love with the Carrera. Definitely feel the missing 170-or-so pounds of torque in the Carrera, but I haven't ever looked back and don't wish I had the Turbo at all (except when I barely lost a race to a 2015 Mustang GT on the interstate in the 70-120 range.

I'm loving the normally-aspiratediness of the GTS. I think that, at age 50, my "How much power is enough" curve has leveled off, and the Carrera's power curve has finally intersected it.

Can be. Whatever you do don't drive the Turbo unless you are serious. The boost can be addictive. The downside of course is the NA cars sound richer as the turbos have a muffling effect on exhaust sound.

Personally, I love the look of the Carrera (GTS Specifically) over the look of the turbo/GT3RS. The large intakes ruin the smoothnesss of the design.
