Car came in today with (my) order mistake-
Got my new 991S today and love it! Way better than I hoped. But I screwed up the order and forgot to get XM satellite radio. Damn. Hate to go aftermarket and hate even more tearing out the dash and headliner. Maybe I have to get more Pandora savy or really update my iPod playlists. Otherwise amazing car! Need to change my avatar. Those waiting- it's worth it!

Stunning ride - congrats. I am pretty sure they can add it aftermarket if not go with Nav-TV option, I have it on my 997.2 and it works as if OEM installed.

Make lemonade...download the value of the XM radio option to your I pod this weekend - which would be 3 or 4 hundred songs.... than make it a point to downoad 15 songs every month when you pay your household bills. You'll have better quality audio seperation in the car - and one hell of a playlist whenever/ wherever you need it moving forward......of course this is written by a guy who has XM in all of my cars, house, cottage and boat...

You might be able to stream XM radio thru the USB connection using the XM radio app on your iPhone/Android/Blackberry...probably a workable solution until the factory XM kit comes out.

Overdraft- I'm on it, downloading to iTunes from the Sirius/XM playlists (alt nation, classic vinyl)
uhn- tell me about Nav-TV? Can I watch TV while I drive (and shave, eat and text)? just kidding, btw
jrt- didn't know there was an app for that (XM).

Great looking car! Ditto for the outgoing one (if you are not keeping it).
Bump is a good point.
Problem with XM app is that is compresses quality even further than the already not stellar satellite broadcast (is it called broadcast via satellite?).

I state this based on a test I did some years ago, so a) my ears may be faulty, and b) it may be better now?

The satellite bump falls in to the same category as the sun roof.... worthless
