I promised the forum some videos of the NEW 991 in action. Heres the first one I'm posting, the 997.2S with PDK and Sport Chrono Vs the 991S w/ PDK and sport Chrono. Launch control was not used in the video because the 991's launch control is a lot more advanced now. It was a mash the gas and go. No time slips or lights.

Not even close! I know the PDK gives "snappier" shifts now, but how is launch control substantially more advanced than the 997.2?

I will be posting videos of each car doing a launch control on the same surface, same day shortly. The difference in the car is unbelievable. The 997.2 on the street has a little more drama involved and isn't always faster then just mashing the gas. The 991 Launch control is a lot more refined and just takes off. I even tried with T/C off and it still takes off. Thank you.

I just noticed your from NJ, Have you been to NJMP? I'm a member there and perhaps we have met at a track day?
