I would think that it would be rather straightforward for the dealer to correct it to factory spec if it were delivered wrong.

Can you delete the "Porsche" and just have "911S"? That would be my personal preference.

Correct. I noticed the same thing. It appears that when the Model Designation is deleted, the P O R S C H E lettering moves down so that the top of the "E" in the new position is located where the bottom of the "E" was in the original location.

A lot of you have asked about the lettering moving down when ordering model designation delete. The difference is not noticeable. End of story. this is a FACT. You are looking at online, I'm talking about real life. I've seen with my own 2 eyes! Designation delete is the way to go.

Fact is, it is noticeable. Happened upon this pic at flicker by a Scott997, lol.

Compared to a full lettering:

i agree. porsche marketing gurus have probably declared that not enough people around the world instantly recognise the shape, therefore they need to tell 'em what it is........

i saw one with 'porsche 911 carrera s'
what a joke!!!!!!

even apple doesn't write 'macbook pro 15" ', why should porsche?
