Default Aqua blue photos

I have a 991s with aqua blue exterior and black/platinum interior on order. My car is now in production, so I am committed to the color even though I have not seen it in person...until this afternoon.

Porsche delivered an aqua blue 991s to my dealer for the Twin Cities auto show this week, and my dealer invited me over to see it. I am thrilled with the color and thought others might like to see it. The car was getting fuel drained so the fire marshall would let it into the convention center, so excuse the open hood.

My car is scheduled to be done Friday (3/9). Here is my build:

Aqua blue
black/platinum full leather interior
sport suspension
steering wheel heat
multi-function steering wheel
roof transport system
delete model designation
18-way sport seats
premium package
bose audio
headlamp cleaner exterior color
clear side markers
manual transmission (I guess that makes me old school )

Jim

oh wow, I may have to run down there to see that. I still am deciding on color.

Is it at Carousel or Maplewood? It looks like Carousel, but I have never been to Maplewood.

It's at Carousel. Supposed to leave Friday AM as I understand it. Of course, no other MN buyer is allowed to order aqua marine blue - need exclusivity after all!

Nice to see them eliminating the gas the correct way, rather than doing it the Portland way!

Oh yes, I forgot to check which colors were still available. Obviously, this blue is now out of the running.

Nice color (which is why I spec'ed it)!
There's no "marine" in aqua blue, which is good because it is a purer blue with no green in it. Could be a shade darker for my taste, but it'll do!

True enough...and agreed. I don't think I'd like it blue-green. I'll update the post!

It will have heated seats too. I think that's a part of the premium package. The heated wheel is really nice in the winter, and my plan is to drive this car year round.

Looks great! I have fond memories of growing up in Minneapolis and of Carousel Porsche.

Not to be maudlin, but my dad was slowing dying of MS and bought a Porsche 924 from them as a last hurrah--it's the car he could afford and had a automatic tranny that was modified for handicapped use. While some can argue it was the weakest Porsche ever made, it was pretty. His was two tone silver/black with that cool checked interior. I have great memories of sitting and driving in that car. I visited Carousel when we were last in MN; the people there were great.

Enjoy you car--it's a beauty!
