Exhaust Tips

Here are some pages scanned from the technical manual that I picked up from Suncoast Parts. It explains the three available exhaust variants. I'm almost certain the single ovals from the base Carrera would not fit on the S or PSE exhaust (I have the latter) perhaps because the opening for the ovals is based on a single pipe.
Some interesting facts or perhaps clarifications for some:
1) the Sound symposer is present on all Carrera models. It is activated automatically when switching into Sport mode, even on the base version, channeling additional (actually amplifying existing) sound into the interior cabin.
2) The difference with PSE is that with the push of a button you can activate this when driving even just in comfort drive mode.
3) On the S you have a 'flap' exhaust system which is automatically activated based on engine speed and load.
4) with PSE is a different flap arrangement and 'unique nozzle design', and can be activated additionally by the push of a button even in comfort drive mode
