Thanks so much. $142,940. I know...crazy but this is replacing my 1997 Cab which I have had for 10 years. I wanted to do it right.

Any thoughts on the color combo of Dark Blue and Agate/Pebble interior would be appreciated.

Why PSE? Just for sounds?

Oh, and ditch the folding mirrors front parking sensors. Not so sure the carbon goes with the luxury theme, but.. maybe. Regardless, should be gorgeous.

Why the Burmester, for different sounds? Why all the leather, for looks?

Is the Burmeister worth the $ over BOSE, especially in a cab? I have no idea but that's an item of discussion here if you search it.
I would say, if you're spending that kind of money, why not spend another $5500 and get PTS? You would have your choice of a multitude of blues. Your combo sounds lovely, but if I were dropping $150K, I would get a special color that maybe no one else will have and wait the extra time to get it and, if necessary, delete some of the interior leather (and I'm no big fan of interior carbon, but that's me).
I'll probably get flamed for this, but both my wife's A6 and my Tundra have steering wheel controls. I'm convinced they are safer than reaching for radio buttons or NAV. My next 911 will have them and I'm surprised how many cars out there don't have them.
Good luck - i'm sure you'll love it!

I truly love music and reading the comments for the Panamera Burmeister the view is it is significantly better than the Bose. I think the leather finishes the car off much better and I do love carbon. I didn't do PTS because I want the car by Spring. My favorite color is Ferrari Pozzi Blue which I would have gotten. The non-metalic dark blue is gorgeous.

Remember that the Pana is/will be a quieter interior than the 991. You may not be able to enjoy the enhanced sound of the Burmester in the 991 interior environment.

Your car should be gorgeous!

Tom,

I love Dark Blue....it'll be gorgeous and non-metallic is the only way to go IMO!

I might've chosen a different color interior....maybe more of a contrasting color but with no more natural brown I don't know what I would've picked.

I too feel PTS (Obviously) might have been a cool way to go especially given you have a color in mind and it doesn't sound like $$$ was gonna be an issue.

After doing PTS with my last two (One was LTS) I'd never do anything else and the wait just makes the arrival and final car even sweeter but I certainly understand wanting to get something this nice sooner rather than later.

There's nothing to criticize Tom....it's all good and should turn out stunning! best of Luck to you and enjoy!

Tom

And.....I love the Burmeister....I heard it on the Panamera and it's GD awesome although I might spend that money someplace else. I wouldn't get the PSE either....I heard the standard exhaust is terrific by itself and to my ears louder isn't always better!

Tom
