I ordered my car on 11/1/11. My build date is March 21st. They are planning to have one at the Houston Auto Show on January 25th - 29th. Our son and I will see one next weekend at the Rolex 24 Hours at Daytona, where it is the pace car. I would expect Porsche NA to have one at the Porscheplatz.

seems like their going to have quite a few cars around and about, my dealer already contacted me about grabbing one of the S's they have coming in versus waiting for my base... makes me nervous, hope they dont over do the supply chain and make em a dime a dozen around town.

If they learned anything from the cayenne inventory, they should have a boatload of 991 coming up.
Also the 911 factory can certainly produce a lot more car, assuming there are not any awd turbo or gt3 variant to produce at this time ...

Are they at least selling the S at sticker price ?

It's the very same production line that is about to build the new 981 Boxster, so I guess they have their hands full ramping up for that one as well... The same production line building two very new cars, not exactly an easy task. Production of 981 starts in March, I have one on order with build date in mid April.
