Default Sport design steering wheel

I just read the order guide via CostCo (of all places) which lists the Sports Design Steering Wheel as coming with audio controls. I thought it didn't have audio controls.

I noticed that too - I think it's a Costco typo. However, it really SHOULD have audio controls, even if they're on the back of the wheel.
There's one way to tell for sure, just look at the price - if they did add a few buttons on the back Porsche would at least double it!
Which leaves us with a choice we shouldn't have to make, the Walter Rohrl approved and recommended paddle shifters for the PDK (which really is a must have) or the long in tooth bat-styled wheel with the compromise PDK shift buttons just so we can easily scan through our favorite stations and adjust volume without leaning forward! (I went for the paddles)

maybe they mean the sport wheel add's the extra stalk which does audio and etc?

i think like the cayenne the multifunction should be standard and paddles only 250 and not 500

What is this Costco price list? Must be a joke- you can't really order a Porsche from Costco, right?

They have the Porsche invoice pricing on the website and yes you can actually get a Porsche through Costco. They have an auto program that has pre-negotiated prices with some dealers.

I read a preview of the 991 in a UK magazine. The car was driven by Walter Rohrl and not the journalist.

There was a small photo section which referred to the PDK paddle wheel not having multifunction buttons. It stated specifically that a "Fix is coming".

I certainly hope so, I have the multifunction wheel in my non-paddle Cayenne and as I would want paddles in the 991 I would really really miss a multifunction wheel.
