Okay - how did you do that? I haven't been able to do this on the site. Must be doing something wrong or not seeing the correct subdirectory????

 

Wow i have to say that's pretty hot....Love the ducktail.... Classic

 

Ducktails are so awesome. Great option and excellent taste.

 

FYI: I saw a yellow 991 in person at Rennsport Reunion and it looked great... but you should know that it is a brighter yellow than the "Speed Yellow" that has been a standard color during the last decade or so. The new yellow on the 991 looks more acidic and lemony... and generally brighter than the old speed yellow. It looks great, I actually prefer it.

 

Siiiiick. First I've seen the duck tail on the 991 Porsche Carrera 4S GT etc etc

 

This car really has a strong Panamera resemblance, even outside. On this photo far closer to the Panamera than to its 80's cousin parked alongside:

 

For some reason, the 991 looks better to me in yellow than the 997 did. Is it the exact same yellow?

No it is not the same color yellow as Speed Yellow. The new color, Racing Yellow, is brighter.

I cant beleave that nobody bought the yellow PTS 997rs yet, mind you it is a bit pricy at Porsche of Fairfield web site for $184,440

May I ask how you get the alternate view of your build in the configurator?

 

It's not the same yellow. The 997 is Speed Yellow and has a bit more mustard from what I can tell. The 991 is Racing Yellow and seems to be a little lighter and also brighter.
