Hi guys. Just back from staying overnight at the Red Lion where the 991s are docked prepped for the journalists who Porsche is putting up at the Four Seasons- I'm sure to guarantee a good night sleep and un-biased reporting. Observations are as follows. Porsche goes all out for these events-very well organized. 3 weeks of everyday or two new groups of media people wined and dined like you would not believe. People from Porsche-Germany, staying where I did at the Red Lion were exceptionally nice, allowing great access to my kids and I to see, photograph, sit in the cars listen to the stereo, PSE etc. One guy even gave my 3 yr old a chocolate milk. Cars are beautiful, engine sound is great. Burmeester sounds amazing, and fit and finish of the interior is much better than mine. Colors that really popped for me were yellow-the factory guys said it is a new color, the aqua blue I think that Dan photographed so well, white and the darker red. Even the agate grey is beautiful. It was quite a production as the cars came back from the daily thrashings-wash detail and up on the lifts to look for tire/wheel issues and some sort of data extraction on a laptop computer, looking for over-revs maybe? They said very little oil was having to be added

I'm really liking the white interior on the grey car! What's the name for that interior color? Must be a hassle to care for though...

Nice pictures. We enjoyed seeing them in person prior to heading back up to Seattle.

This was possibly the most comfortable car seat I have ever sat in. Perforated leather on adaptive sport I think.

Rear looks exactly the same size as mine. Also for the 'targa-like' quality of the sunroof, once it is open the aperature looks to be the same.

I'm also curious which interior color that is on the second pic, the agate grey car, is that the agate grey/pebble grey interior? if so, the pebble grey looks a light lighter than i thought it would.

Yes, it is the agate grey/pebble grey.

I order 991 with agate grey exterior with espresso. The deadline for the final change is the first week of December. I might change the interior to black/platinum grey. What's you guys think which one is the best

Agate Grey with Espresso
or
Agate Grey with Black/Platinum Grey

It was a beautiful combination, but I don't know what the wear pattern would be like after 4 or 5 yrs of use.
