2013 911 leaked

I have no concerns at all. This marks perhaps the best evolution from one gen to the next. It makes the 997 look tall and bulbous, relatively speaking.
Well done, Porsche. I can't wait to see the Turbo and aerokitted versions.

Let the religious wars begin!
I echo the sentiment of others that the car has borrowed from others. I see Aston in the back and Ferrari 360 in the front.
I used to love the BMW 5 series in the 80's and early 90's. Then, in the mid-2000's, when the cars got too big and fat, I switched to the 3 series. I wonder if I'll wind up doing the same here. Let's see what the new Cayman looks like next year...

I suspect these are a bit photoshop and a bit rendering. I don't think they're final. I do think they might've come from porsche internally. or at least some portion of them.
I think it would be a very unusual choice to have the front marker lights extend beyond the rads. I suspect that will not end up on the final product.
Also suspecting the branding might be real. Follows the new branding guideline and is probably reacting to comments in the real world. Many non-consumers have trouble telling which one is the 911 and which one is the carrera. Since the 911 is top of the line, I'm sure they'll want other people to recognize that so consumers can cash in on the "prestige" of having the top of the line. Beyond the "top of the line" stuff, there is a lot of confusion about what's a 911 and what's a carrera as well. It's quite often that people see the "carrera" on the back of the car and say "i thought you had a 911". this approach will address that. This car is a "911 carrera" this car is a "911 carrera S" this car is a "911 Gt3".

Notice that this fellow's metric is to bring the 911 to his idea of a 'stable' car like his Cayman... Thanks, but no thanks.

These photos are identical to the ones posted earlier that were decried as "Photoshopped." Although it's impossible to know for sure, I think these shots (and the others) are probably right on.
Overall, the 991 seems like a well-done evolution from the 997. Not enough of a departure to upset any of us too much.
The rear badging, while way over the top, is part of Porsche's new designation philosophy. The Cayennes and Panameras, which originally did not say PORSCHE on the back, now do. Still, it'll be strange to see a 911 on the road with the word PORSCHE on it, let alone "Porsche 911 Carrera S."
Delete, delete, delete, indeed.

What's with the gap (black triangle) below the center console? Did they run out of pleather? That looks terrible.
At least they stopped putting the black air bag cover and black steering wheel spokes on all interior colors.

I like it. I agree that the rear badges are overkill... that needs to be removed. However, I think the tail lights and rear deck lid are a big improvement from the current car, and the interior looks much nicer too. I was thinking of upgrading my 996 to a 997, but now I think I'll wait for a 991!

Looks fantastic, though I do think these are not real images.
Definitely not liking the overbadging. And the black base of the side mirrors looks out of place and bad. Should be body color.
